I became a member of the Danish Design Council last year, very honoured.
16-24. of October 2015, the Design council had a very exiting trip to Japan in , visiting Sony design development, Hitaschi, Nintendo,
Nippon Design company and also a very fine pottery in Kyoto. Really interesting to visit Japan in this way,
and come closer to the Japanese way of making things!
Rud. Rasmussen has produced and sold furniture in the backyard of Nørrebrogade 45 since 1876. This is one of the last active factory environments in “the black square” of Nørrebro. The company produces world-famous Danish designer furniture. Cabinetmaker and designer Kasper Salto is telling about the fine craftmanship, that is made here, and about being those who came after these masters of design and craftmanship.
